Praises AMSOIL!

LNG
Publishing Company, Inc.
In the March 2003 issue of
Lubes 'n' Greases,
Automotive Editor David McFall wrote an
in-depth article on the subject of extended oil drain intervals and
touted AMSOIL as a safe, cost-effective and environmentally preferred
choice. He praised AMSOIL for their commitment to excellence and labeled
AMSOIL "unshackled"
for never conforming to industry norms and standards.

Compare AMSOIL to Mobil 1,
Pennzoil, Quaker State, Castrol and more!

AMSOIL 10W-30 Motor Oil and ten
competing oils were subjected to a series of tests. AMSOIL
outperformed all the competitors in nearly every test! See the
impressive test results!

A Clean Engine Performs Better and
Lasts Longer
AMSOIL Engine Flush restores both high- and low-mileage mechanically sound
engines to peak efficiency. AMSOIL Engine Flush is fast acting and
contains a carefully selected blend of solvents and special cleaning
agents that dissolve and disperse harmful deposits formed in the crankcase, cylinder walls, pistons and rings
of internal combustion engines. When
used as directed, it cleans and restores operating
efficiency to valves, valve lifters, rocker arms,
and pistons for improved horsepower, fuel economy,
and performance. One treatment of AMSOIL Engine
Flush cleans engines for reduced wear and longer engine life. Use before changing
oil.

Why Clean Your Engine?
Chances are, when your engine was
new it delivered the power and fuel efficiency it
was designed for. But now, as your engine
accumulates miles, things are happening that are
adversely affecting its performance. Slowly but
surely, your engine is gathering harmful deposits
that will eventually cost you money.
Even though you may follow a
routine service schedule, your driving conditions
may be far from routine. Stop-and-go driving,
prolonged periods of idling, short trips that
don't allow your engine time to warm up, towing a
trailer, the ingestion of airborne dirt, fuel
dilution, water condensation, and oxidized oil
will eventually cause the formation of a thick,
gummy deposit known as sludge. Settling throughout
the engine, sludge will clog oil passages,
restricting the flow of oil to vital engine parts,
especially in the upper valve train
areas.
When an engine gets
dirty, even regular oil changes can't help
restore its operating efficiency. The
detergent/dispersants in most conventional
engine oils can't handle the abnormal amounts of
contamination found in a dirty engine. The new
oil becomes dirty long before it should, losing
much of its ability to lubricate and protect
your engine and actually accelerating the
formation of more sludge and varnish. These
engine deposits can cost you money in excessive
fuel consumption and mechanical repairs.
AMSOIL Engine Flush has special solvents and cleaning
agents that quickly, but gently, removes harmful
engine deposits. It helps to free stuck lifters,
increase oil flow and reduce oil consumption. A
clean engine increases horsepower, fuel economy,
and performance. AMSOIL Engine Flush also
accelerates the drain process and releases as
much dirty oil as possible from the crankcase.
In this age of longer recommended drain intervals, it
is especially important to have a clean engine
before changing your oil. Using AMSOIL Engine
Flush when you change your oil is an excellent
way to guarantee your engine stays clean.
Recommended For Use Before Switching to
AMSOIL
AMSOIL Engine Flush is
especially recommended for use before changing to AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oils,
assuring that these premium long-life motor oils provide the maximum protection and
service life they are designed to deliver.
How to Use
Before changing your oil, add one 16-ounce can of AMSOIL Engine Flush
for each 5-quarts of sump capacity, following the directions on the
can. Let your
engine run at fast idle for 15 to 20 minutes, then immediately drain the dirty oil from the
engine and remove the old oil filter.
Optional: Installing a new oil filter before adding the
Engine Flush provides better filtration of the contaminants
freed by AMSOIL Engine Flush. After the flush is complete,
immediately drain the dirty oil, install another new oil filter
and add fresh motor oil.
Note: AMSOIL Engine Flush is not recommended
for motorcycles, ATV's or small
engines. |
