Exceeds Rigorous European Performance Standards

AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-30 and 10W-30 Motor Oils exceed the most demanding worldwide performance standards and dramatically outperforms conventional petroleum oils. Like all of AMSOIL synthetic motor oils, AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-30 and 10W-30 Motor Oils surpass the North American SAE and European ACEA oil specification for high-temperature/high-shear viscosity, which means they won't shear back to a lower viscosity oil in the high-temperature/high-shear conditions of today's small, high rpm engines. AMSOIL 5W-30 remains a 5W-30 and AMSOIL 10W-30 remains a 10W-30.

Excels in Extreme Temperatures

Evaporation (volatility) occurs when oil gets hot. Vaporized oils grow thick and heavy, which causes them to circulate poorly, increasing engine wear and reducing fuel efficiency. Oil consumption skyrockets and emissions are increased as oil boils off. AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-30 and 10W-30 Motor Oils have the lowest evaporation rate of all the oils tested (see graph below), making them the best at controlling evaporation-related oil consumption and emissions. AMSOIL 5W-30 and 10W-30 Motor Oils keep fuel efficiency at maximum levels and, most importantly, engine wear to a minimum. And, unlike conventional oils, AMSOIL 5W-30 and 10W-30 Motor Oils contains no wax and stay fluid down to -60°F and -58°F, respectively (see chart below), so they flow quickly to allow easy starting and immediate lubricating protection.

Oil Filter Service Intervals

Extended oil drain intervals are based on the user following AMSOIL recommended oil filter service intervals:

• If using an AMSOIL Ea™ Oil Filter, install a new oil filter at time of oil change. AMSOIL Ea™ Oil Filters offer a 25,000-mile or one-year service life, whichever comes first.

• If using other brands of oil filters, install a new oil filter at time of oil change then change at the engine manufacturer's recommended filter change intervals.

Note: AMSOIL Ea™ Oil Filters are designed for extended drain intervals. They stop smaller particles, allow more oil flow and last longer than regular filters.

Good to Know

• For best results, use AMSOIL Engine Flush before installing AMSOIL synthetic motor oil.

• For maximum engine protection and best performance, use an AMSOIL Ea™ Oil Filter and an AMSOIL Ea™ Air Filter.

• AMSOIL recommends checking the oil at a minimum of every 3,000 miles to maintain proper fill levels and maximum engine protection.

• Most quick lube service centers will install these products upon request or install them yourself.
