Provides Quick, Solid Shifts Racers Need
Automatic transmissions do not slip with
AMSOIL Super Shift® Synthetic Racing Transmission Fluid, helping racers improve on
elapsed times. AMSOIL Super Shift® promotes positive clutch
engagement and improves overall shift performance. It is
compatible with common metallic and nonmetallic friction
materials. Its stable frictional characteristics eliminate
excessive brake noise and vibration, clutch slippage, friction
surface deposits and design material degradation.
Formulated Without Friction Modifiers
AMSOIL Super Shift® Synthetic Racing Transmission Fluid
contains no friction modifiers, providing high-holding capacity
for maximum torque transfer and brake power.
Wear Protection
AMSOIL Super Shift® Synthetic Racing Transmission Fluid
contains a robust additive system for extra protection, and a
shear-stable synthetic base stock. This superior shear stability
allows AMSOIL Super Shift® to maintain its viscosity grade
throughout its service life, providing long-term protection
against equipment wear, even when equipment is frequently
subjected to sustained periods of applied pressure or high
horsepower and high torque. With AMSOIL Super Shift®, clutches,
bearings and bushings last longer, saving money on transmission
repairs.
Burned-Up Transmissions are Minimized or Eliminated
AMSOIL Super Shift® Synthetic Racing Transmission Fluid is
highly effective against heat and wear, significantly reducing
transmission temperature and minimizing or eliminating burned-up
transmissions. It is an excellent heat transfer fluid and may
help hot-running equipment operate up to 50°F cooler.
In low temperatures, AMSOIL Super Shift® flows readily for
dependable startup and post-startup protection.
Equipment Runs Clean
AMSOIL Super Shift® Synthetic Racing Transmission Fluid's
superior oxidative (oxygen) and thermal (heat) stability
inhibits the formation of varnish, deposits and sludge so
equipment runs clean.
Protects Equipment From Metal-to-Metal Contact, Rust and
Corrosion
AMSOIL Super Shift® Synthetic Racing Transmission Fluid
controls foaming, for responsive clutch plate engagements and
protecting equipment from the metal-to-metal contact and wear
that occurs with the use of foamy fluids. It also protects
equipment from rust and copper corrosion, even during equipment
storage.
Applications
AMSOIL Super Shift® Synthetic Racing Transmission Fluid
is recommended for racing and street performance automatic transmissions coupled
to high-horsepower, high-torque engines. It is
also recommended for equipment where heavy loads place a high
demand on transmissions.
Recommended where Allison C-4 or Ford Type F is required. Some suggested automatic
transmission applications are:

Note: AMSOIL Super Shift® is not
recommended as a replacement for Ford Mercon, GM
Dexron or Chrysler ATF+ type fluids in passenger
vehicle and truck transmissions as it may cause erratic shift
patterns, chattering or noise. |
